I scheduled a service for 60000 miles and at the end of the day the transmission seevice which was at the top of my list was not completed. The service advisor owned it and said the tech did not do his job. But now I have to take the truck in again and wait for it to be completed. Very disappointed. Seems like the service has gone down over the last year

My experience at your Simi Valley dealership was amazing! I had gone to two other GMC dealerships before heading over to Simi, and I was disappointed and had a bad taste in my mouth with the whole car buying experience. I figured I’d try one more GMC place and that happened to be Simi. As soon as I walked in Aboss ( sorry if misspelled) greated me and was very helpful and not pushy at all. He took the time to hear me vent out my frustration with previous dealerships and proceeded to narrow down my search. After picking out a few possibilities, Foster came in and made my experience even better! He opened up personally and told me about life growing up in Simi Valley, and really spoke to the “human” aspect in car shopping; and made a very stressful time both enjoyable and flat out fun. Between the 3 of us we vowed to make a deal happen no matter what, that’s how at home and at ease I was in your dealership. Finally I prepared myself for the real stressful part, having the sales guys go to the “numbers” guy while I wait impatiently to hear my fate. That guy happened to be David, and to my surprise he was just as helpful and pleasant as your first two employees. He had a great way of making us feel at home while crunching numbers, and did so again by being personable with us and telling us about himself and how he’s helped open some of our favorite local restaurants from the town we both happen to live in. At the end of it all, I felt like I was doing business with friends, and that feeling was driven home when David explained their motto was come in and make friends or make friends and leave also leave with a new car! While my experience in purchasing a new vehicle was a good one, the recent service experience was not. I cannot believe that you would charge $250/hr to apply new emblems on a vehicle. I wasn't given notice of that hourly charge before it was serviced, and the receipt I received after did not have any breakdown of the hours it took, or notes on what was done. I asked for all the original emblems back, and only received half of them. The work that was done was not the problem....the cost...definitely. When someone spends upwards of $80,000, you should inform them of your outrageous labor costs when they are signing the papers. I understand that some services, especially more technical/systems/engine types of services, require specific trainings and justify a higher rate, but $250/hr to replace emblems is outright ludicrous. I am extremely unhappy with Alexander GMC, and it will be very hard for me to bring in my vehicle for future service needs. I am a local business owner and these costs are something the community will hear about. Its a shame that nothing was done at the moment to rectify my negative experience.

It's clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the customer experience. Thanks to Arthur and the team at Alexander GMC in Simi Valley, I left feeling confident and well taken care of. This level of service is rare and greatly appreciated. I wasted the three hours without solving my issue, obviously there is a lack of knowledge about hammer EV CarPlay - the only reason it didn’t work was that I wasn’t connected to the vehicle Wi-Fi. After a few days, I noticed that the cables next to the pedals are disconnected so I had to call San photo and connect the cable myself I can provide photo.

I went in for a service and oil change on my 2015 Yukon. I asked about a problem that I was having with my Navigation. I was having the letters CAL show up in the area of my speedometer, and my Nav quit working. I was told this would be $240.00 just to evaluate what was wrong, but that money would be applied to any charge I would have to fix it! This seemed way out of line, just to find out what is wrong! I purchased my vehicle at this dealership,,, and it is this kind of thing that would make me strongly consider going somewhere else for my next vehicle purchase! I know you have to make money,,, but that seems like a ridiculous price! Dennis Taylor

I appreciate the professional and great care the Simi GMC dealership provided. We had a very bad experience with Swickard GMC in Thousand Oaks (which is where I purchased my GMC Terrain in 2016 - then Silverstar GMC eventually became Anderson GMC and now under Swickard ). I contacted Arthur, your service manager, and also spoke with Megan- both were so professional and helpful. My car was serviced, washed! and back the same day. I went with a pre-approved letter from Chase and a trade in nissan rogue in perfect condition. I set up an appointment the day before and arrived ten minutes late. The car i requested to see the day before was filthy and not even on the lot. I was driven to see a dirty truck and still wanted to purchase it I explicitly asked to not run my credit bur use my trade in and letter to buy the truck advertised for 38000. They ran my credit 3 times while I was there Pushed that I use bank of america. When asked about my credit check because I got an alert they lied and said they did not do it. They promised 3 features for the car free which they charged me for later in the signed paperwork. By the time I left they said my rogue was worth only 10 instead of the 15 it was appraised at and jacked the price of the car to 45000. Very disappointed and one week later have still not paid off my trade in. Very disappointed the process took 5 hours. Please fix this.

This dealership sold us two vehicles in 2020 that required us to replace the engine on both. However, it is not there doing that the engines failed but their customer service in the service department has work to be done. They do not offer courtesy vehicles. My husband’s truck was in service for about a month when he went to go pick it up. They stated that the starter was bad and they needed to replace it at an additional cost walking out after all services were done at a cost of $14,000. Two months later, my engine goes out on my 2021 Denali. I requested a courtesy vehicle as they didn’t have one available. They offered me a partnership with Hertz at a discounted rate of $44 a day. Which then cost me $1200 too have a rental vehicle why my engine was being repaired through warranty. Three days before my engine was scheduled to be fixed. They offered me a courtesy vehicle wow. As I was scheduled to pick up my vehicle, they stated that my battery was not kicking over and I would have to pay for a new battery at $309.08. I refused and they were miraculously were able to charge my battery upon arrival they stated that I needed a new engine pump and that would warn a new claim and I would have to bring my vehicle back. All to say that I will never step foot at the dealership again.

I found the Alexander GMC dealership through the gmc.com inventory search using my zip code. I found the Sierra configuration I was looking for and requested details on the vehicle. I was soon contacted by John, a salesperson at Alexander GMC. I had an offer from a different dealership in Orange County at the price I was comfortable with at the time with a slightly different configuration but it was what i was looking for. John got me in contact with Sam in finance and those guys stayed in contact with me. I live outside the area, and my available hours wasnt in line with Alexander GMC business hours to stop the dealership that that day. But Sam put in work and more work and kept working and staying in contact until we reached a deal online and John delivered a super clean and gorgeous 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT to my home in Lancaster the next morning. Sam and John were like John Stockton and Karl Marlone and it was an all around memorable and excellent experience, It was a real pleasure to do business with the team of professionals at Alexander GMC. And an extra shout out to Sam for the win!!
